Whether it’s a coalition of funders or activists, a new organization starting from scratch, or a well-established organization looking to take its operations and employee benefits to the next level, we’ve got a solution that will set them up for achieving greater impact.

managed
fund
A Managed Fund provides the infrastructure and management required for a project, coalition or organization to accept contributions and regrant funds to other organizations. The fund becomes a project of the Working Families Organization and EpicWorks manages all the finances and related compliance and reporting. Managed Funds do not make vendor/contractor payments or have employees. This offering is available for both c3 and c4 entities, as well as for unincorporated entities.
COMPREHENSIVE Fiscal Sponsorship
A Comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship provides established and growing organizations with access to 501c3 and/or 501c4 tax-exempt status along with a full set of employee services: payroll, withholding, benefits, HR services, conflict resolution, DOL compliance and more. Also included: all of the financial and compliance services required for receiving revenue, making grants to other organizations, and paying vendors and contractors. The fiscally sponsored organization becomes a project of the Working Families Power or one of our Partner Organizations and EpicWorks provides all of the services above. This offering is available for 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 nonprofits, LLCs and other entities.
Support negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements and the provision of a minimum basic Collective Bargaining Agreement for staff unions represented by Workers United.
BASIC Fiscal SponsorshiP
A Basic Fiscal Sponsorship provides the infrastructure and management required for a project, coalition or organization to accept contributions and regrant funds to other organizations, while also making payments to vendors and contractors. The fiscally sponsored initiative becomes a project of the Working Families Organization and EpicWorks manages all the finances and related compliance and reporting. Basic Fiscal Sponsorships do not require employee services. This offering is available for c3 and c4 entities, LLCs and other entities.
Co-Employment
(PAYROLL/BENEFITS)
The Co-Employment package provides a full set of employee services to organizations that maintain their own financial infrastructure. EpicWorks handles payroll, withholding, benefits, HR services, conflict resolution, DOL compliance and more, while the organization continues to manage their own finances, reporting and compliance. Optional add-on services include the management of credit card expenses and vendor payments by EpicWorks. This offering is available for 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 nonprofits, LLCs and other entities.
